Mission Statement
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent dePaul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering.
Day after day, many people in our very own local Calvert County community struggle to make ends meet. As a result, the local Society of St. Vincent dePaul (SVdP) in Huntingtown, St. Katherine Drexel Conference’s goal is to help individuals and families in our community.
SVdP volunteers work with individuals and families to provide emergency food, electricity assistance, avoid eviction, transportation, help with medical bills, etc. SVdP volunteers continuously work to provide individuals and families with assistance regardless of religion, race, or national origin.
One hundred percent of proceeds and donations received by SVdP directly benefit the people in the Calvert County community, there are no administrative fees. Our goal is to assist the neediest in our community.
