TR Scholarship & Fundraising

TR Scholarship

Our goal is to make recreation accessible to everyone by offering programs at little to no cost, encouraging all members of our community to get involved.

CCPR recognizes that some Calvert County residents may need additional support to participate in our programs. We understand that during challenging economic times, families often need to make difficult financial decisions—and recreation can sometimes feel like an optional expense. To help ease that burden, CCPR offers a Therapeutic Recreation Scholarship, providing financial assistance so individuals and families can continue to enjoy the benefits of recreation and leisure opportunities.

TR Fundraising Events

To sustain these scholarships, our Therapeutic Recreation Services team hosts several fundraising events throughout the year. Your participation and support help ensure that these opportunities remain available to everyone.

Fundraising Events Include:

  • TR Duck Race - A fun filled afternoon at the Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center of games, contests, crafts and quacktacular fun for a great cause! TR Duck Race Flyer (PDF)

  • TR Golf Tournament – A fun-filled day at our beautiful Chesapeake Hills Golf Course! Even if you’re not a golfer, we invite you to share event details with friends, colleagues, or local businesses who might be interested in playing or sponsoring.
