Green Beret Foundation

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit. For Green Berets wounded or injured while deployed or in training, the foundations sends a $2,500 check and essential gear for a temporary hospital stay that is packed in a Special Forces-grade backpack and ensure that key family members are at the soldier’s bedside. Provides financial support for family members’ travel not covered by the Army and support for other family needs such as child-care, pet kenneling, and fuel cards. Help ship privately owned vehicles to the military treatment facility if required. 

Supplements Military Health System (MHS) and Veterans Health Administration (VA) care to ensure total wellness for the Green Beret. Examples include:

  • Alpha-Stim®
  • Infrared Light Therapy
  • ChiliPad™
  • Neurofeedback
  • Laser Regeneration Therapy
  • Aphasia Therapy
  • Access to substance abuse treatment
  • Inpatient/Outpatient healthcare costs not covered by TRICARE or the Veterans Health Administration

Provides a welcoming and supportive community for family members. Offers financial assistance for Gold Star and surviving families to to help ease the burden immediately after death. Maintains long-term relationships with the family and communicates with the Special Forces Groups to identify any gaps we may be able to fill. 

Provides collaborative and secure environment for transitioning Green Berets. The Next Ridgeline program provides current and former transitioning Green Berets with the tools and resources that they need to be successful in new careers, while the VA Benefits & Claims Program provides them with pre-transition briefings and assists with VA Disability Claims.
