A U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs service--Injured Service members may be approved by DoD for one of the 20 SCI centers available throughout the VA system; these centers provide specialized rehabilitative services to individuals with the onset of SCI.
Spinal Cord Injuries and Disorders (SCI/D) System of Care provides a coordinated life-long continuum of services for Veterans with a spinal cord injury or disorder and serves Veterans in a convenient and connected network that delivers care for each phase of their lives.
