USDVA-Veteran Training (formerly "Moving Forward")

A program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs-Online self-help training site that offers a wide variety of courses to help Veterans and their families deal with challenges associated with service, stress and transition. These online tools are intended to provide a solution to barriers to care, some Veterans may experience such as: cost, geographic distance, time and schedule constraints, stigma, cultural value of self-reliance. Topics include: sleep issues, problem-solving, anger management, parenting and more. Courses recognize the uniqueness of military culture, are free, available 24/7 and 100% confidential. Many of the tools on this website were adapted from evidence-based therapies proven to help Veterans and their families .
